Mrs. Crystal Lucretia
McClure, 74, died Wednesday afternoon in Culver Hospital. She had been in
failing health since last April.
Born January1, 1896, in
Lapel, she was a daughter of Jacob and Sarah Askins. She married Egbert
McClure in 1906 at Anderson. He died in December of 1951.
Mr. and Mrs. McClure
moved here in 1914. Mrs. McClure was a member of the Anderson Baptist
Church.
Surviving are two
daughters, Mabel Woehl and Juanita Hinton, both of Crawfordsville; a son,
Robert McClure of Crawfordsville; three sisters, nine grandchildren and several
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will
be conducted at 2 p.m. (EST) Friday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home with Rev. John
R. Servies in charge. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends
may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Thursday. - thanks to Kim H
